Lynbrook High School – Solar Array Construction - $5.8 Million
Solar Array (Photovoltaic cells) panels create electricity from sunlight, and this technology is one of the best bets for a sustainable future in which renewable energy sources replace fossil fuels as a primary way to produce electricity.
This installation when completed will be producing 50% of the power for Fremont Union High School District, with a projected $1 million per year in energy savings.
